ProductDescription : The LD series pressed steel ball transfer units also known as the ‘Saturn’ type units are easily secured or riveted using integral fixing holes & are ideal for many light-duty, low profile conveying applications. Pressed steel flanged units. Our Flange Fixing Light Duty Ball Transfers allow movement horizontally on all axis as well as rotation on the vertical axis. Commonly seen in horizontal position, ball up applications creating ‘Ball Tables’ or similar conveying surfaces, they can also be used at an angle using a ‘V’ formation allowing the channelling & free rotation of tubular materials. With a low friction coefficient of 1:0,003 & operating at a speed of up to 1m/s at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C our Flange Mount Ball transfers offer great value for your box processing systems, assembly lines, conveying systems, food manufacturing facilities & many other projects! To convey your object properly it needs to have a flat surface in contact with at least 3 of our Euro Ball Units at all times.
