Operation Procedure: Chock front wheels and jack up rear of truck safely using manufacturer jacking points Remove rear wheels to access hub nut. Clean any debris from hub nut and surrounding area. Install socket fully over the 12-point hub nut. Connect 1/2" drive torque wrench to socket. Loosen hub nut, but do not remove completely. Switch to breaker bar for increasing leverage once nut loose, complete nut removal. Check nut threads and hub bearing for damage. Replace as needed. Install new or cleaned hub nut. Tighten with torque wrench to manufacturer spec(500 ft-lbs). Install rear wheels and lower truck. Torque lugs to spec. Remove chocks and test brake performance before driving.
