ProductDescription : This is for one (1) quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) 27lb (12kg) delta style anchor. Also included is a stainless steel 316 grade 3/8" (10mm) bow shackle. The anchor is approx 30" (760mm) in length. Not to be used for overhead lifting. This anchor is a suitable size for boats in the range of 30 to 45 feet in moderate conditions. One piece design provides excellent holding power in nearly all bottoms including mud, sand, rock and coral. Rougher conditions or different bottom conditions may require a larger size anchor. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions. This Delta Anchor has a shank and ballasted tip that makes the anchor self-launching. The low center of gravity and self-righting geometry ensure that the Delta anchor will set immediately. Consistent and reliable in performance, the Delta anchor has Lloyd's Register Type Approval as a High Holding Power anchor and is specified as the primary anchor used by numerous National Lifeboat organizations.
