BulletPoint2 : Why is this more expensive? The shell holder is made from a propriety mix of latex and polyester. Adding natural rubber to the inside requires it is done by hand, requires 72-hour cure time, and intermittent steam bath to cure…all without disturbing the elasticity of the shell holder. All of this is done by hand… in the USA. This process cannot be automated. Hence, double the price.

BulletPoint5 : Elastic is strong and holds tight to the Stock—with rubber, it will NOT easily move out of place providing you place it properly, toward the end of the buttstock. Can be used on any shotgun buttstock. Shells are also held tight. No amount of activity will cause shells to fall out.
BulletPoint6 : If you have a unique situation where you want the holder placed away from the thicker end of the buttstock and/or have a thinner stock than usual, you will need us to customize the stock with more rubber. Note, this is very rare. Nevertheless, contact us and we will oblige but take note, adding more rubber will interfere with the elasticity of the poly/latex making it difficult to place the holder.
BulletPoint7 : The two-shell side gives you plenty of clearance. You have to position it properly. The stick is perfect (providing you place it properly toward the thicker end of the buttstock) while not destroying the elasticity of the latex/poly fabric. That is the secret. Otherwise, you would not be able to easily adjust it in the field. It works. It's useful and an asset well worth the couple extra bucks you shell out (pun intended).

We use a strong elastic that tightly hugs any adult-sized buttstock. In fact, it is a proprietary mix of polyester, latex and other ingredients that enable this elastic to really hug the shotgun. However, guns are made differently. Some stocks have almost a glass-like surface and require shell holders with rubber to keep them in place. Most brands, the holder will slide up or down the stock with activity. Ours stays put-- where you want it providing it is placed at the thicker end of the stock. Should ever your life be at stake, relying on your weapon and ammo: you won’t have to worry about those rounds being right where you want them. Even the shells are tightly secured in the holder. They won’t move. They won’t fall out. 2. Our brand holds 8 rounds, for right or left shoulder shooters (just flip it).
