This is a Trumpeter 1/35 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the KV-1S tank, a modified late 1942 variant of the Kliment Voroshilov (KV) KV-1 tank designed to be lighter, faster, but with thinner than the earlier versions. Model kit features: Kliment Voroshilov experimental AFV mating an existing KV-1S tank chassis with a new turret armed with an 85mm S-31 anti-tank gun. Kit has well defined raised and engraved exterior surface features (including weld seams), finely rendered running gear (with multi-part wheels and sprockets), individual link track, optional position hatches, new tool cast texture turret, filigree exterior fittings, cylindrical fuel tanks, clear-molded lamp lenses, braided wire tow cable, turned metal gun barrel and photo-etch parts (grille, brackets, fine details). 5-view color painting guide for a typical Soviet tank.
