InstructionsMercury Oil Change Instructions for 4-Stroke 15/20 CarbOil Change Procedure Lock the outboard in the full tilt-up position Position outboard so the drain hole is facing downward. Remove drain plug with a 5/8" or 16mm wrenchand drain engine oil into an appropriate container. Note: Do Not use a crankcase oil pump when changing oil or damage may occur. After the initial oil has been drained, temporarily reinstall the drain plug. Disengage the tilt lock and lower the outboard.
