Our MEAC powder is extremely high quality and made using biotech industry standards. The agar is excellent for mycology experiments, including mushroom cultivation. This is also a great science kit to learn microbiology and fantastic for laboratory and research use. Contents: 1. 100g of Malt Extract Agar Powder with Activated Charcoal (MEAC) Here are some basic instructions: 1. Add about 32 grams powder per liter of water (distilled water is preferred). 2. Bring the mixture to a boil and mix well. 3. (Recommended) Autoclave the mixture for ~30 minutes at 15psi (121°C). 4. Pour enough agar to coat the bottom of each Petri dish. 1 Liter makes about 40 to 50 plates. 5. Let the agar cool down and solidify (this takes about 1-2hrs). 6.
