ProductDescription : Set of 3 brushes held together with a cotter pin. To maintain brushes, wash and rinse once a week with dish washing detergent. Avoid soaps with oil or softeners. Make sure the pin goes under the metal bracket when reinstalling them in the tank. Replace every three to five years, or when needed. If your current brushes are caked up with hard water residue, turn the machine off, and flip the brushes over in the tank. Allow them to soak overnight, or for a couple hours. After a good soak, you should be able to break off much of the hard water build up. This should improve the moistening quality of your brushes.
