SHT21, a new generation of Sensirion temperature and humidity sensor sets a new standard in terms of size and intelligence: it is embedded in a dual-row flat no-lead DFN package suitable for reflow soldering, and the sensor outputs a calibrated digital signal in a standard I2C format.
SHT21, a newly designed CMOSens chip, an improved capacitive humidity sensing element and a standard energy gap temperature sensing element, whose performance has greatly improved or even exceeded the reliability level of the previous generation sensors (SHT1x and SHT7x). It makes its performance in high humidity environment more stable.
